IDSS’s vision is to educate a community of global citizens by providing them with opportunities to be all they can be and inspiring them to make a positive difference in a changing world. IDSS has empowered its vision by giving students an opportunity to connect with the community they live in and find the best ways to make a difference.
Within community actions and projects, students explore their right and responsibility to implement service as action in the community.
IDSS traditionally participates in Holiday Charity Bazaar, with various products that the students and staff members make together and sell at the bazaar for a good cause. Charity Fun Run has become an annual event, it was started up by the students and has now grown to such a big event that it not only involves students doing something for the community, but invites the broader community to participate.

- Park cleaning
- Art exhibition focused on Environment issues
- Holiday Charity Bazaar
- Anti-smoking campaign
- Help to the local dog shelter
- Socializing with children with special needs
